Rexhep Rexhepi Chronomètre Contemporain Only Watch 2019

For Only Watch 2019, Rexhep Rexhepi created an exclusive piece based on the Chronomètre Contemporain, the first watch signed with his name. Inspired by the officer’s watches of the 1940’s with their sleek lines combined with a dedication to accuracy and readability. This watch is officially certified by the Besançon Chronometer Observatory. The Chronomètre Contemporain has manual winding movement with hours, minutes, seconds chronometer featuring hacking seconds, automatic zero reset. The dial is hand hammered, as key part of the work in Akrivia Atelier. The unique blue grey color of the multi layered grand feu dial offers a delicate light contrasted by the white enamel of the numerals. The in-house movement is fully embellished with handmade traditional finishing techniques such as anglage, black polish and Côtes de Genève…His symmetrical architecture is one of the signature of the Rexhep Rexhepi's caliber. In November 2018, Chronomètre Contemporain awarded the GPHG’s Men’s Prize.

Akrivia Atelier was created by Rexhep Rexhepi in 2012, to express his own vision of Haute Horlogerie. His main ambition is to synthesize a contemporary style with traditional and artisanal watchmaking methods.
